1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IdentiStride's identity verification services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Service Description

IdentiStride provides biometric gait authentication and identity verification services through a prepaid credit system. Our Services include:

  • Biometric gait authentication
  • Identity verification
  • Face liveness detection
  • Document validation
  • API integration tools

3. Credit System & Payment

3.1 Prepaid Credits

All verification services are purchased through a prepaid credit system. Credits are non-refundable once purchased and expire 6 months from the date of purchase.

3.2 Pricing

Current pricing is displayed on our website and may be modified at any time. Changes to pricing will not affect credits already purchased.

3.3 Welcome Credits

New users receive 10 free welcome credits upon account creation. These credits are subject to the same 6-month expiration policy.

4. Account Responsibilities

4.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4.2 Authorized Use

You may only use the Services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services to violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or abuse the API
  • Share or resell your API access without authorization
  • Use the Services in any way that could damage or impair our systems
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our Services

5. Data Processing & Privacy

5.1 Zero PII Storage

IdentiStride operates on a zero Personally Identifiable Information (PII) storage policy. We do not store biometric templates, identity documents, or personal information beyond what is necessary for verification processing.

5.2 Data Processing

All verification data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded after verification is complete. Results are stored as anonymized metadata only.

5.3 Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of our Services complies with all applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA.

6. Service Availability & Support

6.1 Uptime

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

6.2 Support

Support is provided via email at support@identistride.com. Response times vary based on your tier and issue severity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdentiStride shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the preceding one month.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IdentiStride from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, unused credits will be forfeited and you must immediately cease using the Services.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Services after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
